MINI RETREAT for ECQG in May

Last Friday and Saturday, our Elm City Guild held a two day mini retreat, called this because it is short, effective and we go home to sleep in our own beds, well-fed and sewn out!  Our food/snacks are provided and we need not pack up for the night, as everything is kept safe and sound Friday night for the next day.

Nancy Colpitts had her store set up for everyone’s convenience.  Lots of non retreat goers made and appearance as well to shop and visit as well with great enthusiasm.

Nancy folding some yummy just-purchased fabric for Pauline!

Thirty plus members attended and sewed, learned, taught, talked, socialized, ate, and just enjoyed the experience and each other.  Want that verified...have a look at Faye Charleton's photos.  (There should be a way that I can out 2 photos side by side, but it just doesn't seem to work, so take your time and just enjoy Faye's photos!)

Thanks to everyone that participated, helped in the planning and those who played an essential role "pulling the retreat off" as they say.  A BIG THANK YOU!

I enjoyed the photos and hope that you did too!  It always give me a chance to view the items I may have missed when I was "visiting".  It helps if you weren't there as well to see what people are working on.

Please comment in the comment box with opinions, questions, observations etc...it is always nice to know that people are actually reading or looking at the pictures.

  Until next time!
Sew frequently even if just for 15 minutes at a time...
