 MAY'S MONTHLY MEETING

Last night's monthly meeting saw us joined by local wood fiber artist, Ralph Simpson.  Ralph gave us some insight into his journey up to today.  After retiring from his career as a biologist, Ralph went to the NB College of Craft & Design and now creates and teaches weaving - baskets and other artworks using barks, grasses, flowers and other plants.  His talk was interesting and informative and his work is beautiful.

Ralph opened the meeting and show and tell closed the meeting - enjoy the following pictures of both.

The following is Ralph's personal favorite of his works completed to date - beautiful work!
