Buddies Day with Akerley Area Quilt Guild

Recently Elm City Quilters’ Guild members shared the talents of the Akerley Area Quilters’ Guild. The requirements for the project were intriguing and kept us guessing until the end. In one of the photos you can see Joy  rolling her fabric along the face of an iron to create a fabric bead and in another Doris holding her bead up for the camera and in others our finished necklaces and some of the show and tell. We enjoyed a wonderful day with great friends, a delicious lunch and a fun project to take home.  by Pat Kennedy

Thanks Pat, I enjoyed the picture trip with you to Akerley.  I wish I hadn't been sick that day, as it looked like so much FUN!  Thank you sister-guild Akerley for a fun and unique day!
    Thats all for now,
        Kathy
