good morning!
Joan gave us details on the retreat planned for February 10-13th, payment is due in January, there is room for a maximum of 55 quilters. She mentioned that they do a lot of eating and lots of laughing and some sewing in between, sounds like a good time!
the lucky winners for the night,
our meet and greet winner, ...is Elaine Stairs. The meet and greet was planned by our program committee, we had to meet 5 people we had never talked to before, write their names down on a piece of paper, with our's on the top, and then the paper went in a draw and Elaine was our winner!
the fat quarter draw winner, Darlene,
and the name tag draw winner, Barb Canavan,
stay tuned for show and tell pictures...

done is GOOD!
As promised, here is my (Kathy Felmate's) finished I Spy quilt made for my one year old friend who is now TWO! It has gone to Halifax and I am sure it will be a hit. I was machine quilting it myself but with all of the seams and “drag” I was having a lot of trouble and frustration so I gave it to Gwenda and magically and beautifully it came back to me 2 days later, beautifully quilted by G&E at Wooden It Be Nice!! Binding, labelling, finished and off to Halifax. Done is GOOD!
