Jeannita Robinson presented us with step 2 for the mystery quilt,




stitch and flip:

align a DARK print scrap (B) with a corner of (A), right sides together, stitch from corner to corner. Trim seam 1/4". Open (B) and press, repeat for the other 3 corners.

for 80 cut 320 2 1/2 inch squares
for 110 cut 440 2 1/2 inch squares

tone on tone: 2 3/4 yards
light print scraps: 1 7/8 yards
dark print scraps: 3 yards
backing: 5 1/3 yards

QUEEN
86"x94"

tone on tone: 3 2/3 yards
light print scraps: 2 3/8 yards
dark print scraps: 4 yards
backing: 8 yards


step 1:

cut (80) 6 inch squares out of your tone on tone for the 70x86 quilt or,
cut (110) 6 inch squares out of your tone on tone for the 86x94 quilt
