Library Show 2016

Were you able to make it into the Library to see the quilt display that was available to the public for the month of March? If so than I am sure you would agree that it was an awesome example of the works of art that our guild can produce.

A big thank you goes out to Joyce for her hard work organizing this event and following through for the entire month. Pat K, Joyce N, and Janet M helped hang the show - with tremendous assistance from Mark a library employee. Pat K and Joyce N with help from Joyce's husband, John, took it down.

Cecile G did her Underground Railroad Lecture, Pat K did a mini one-block wonder workshop with the Friday knitters group and of course Joyce, Marj, Peggy, Geraldine and Dorothy did demonstrations of hand quilting, wool applique, paper piecing, cathedral window and machine piecing.

Thank you again to all that helped, attended or contributed to this show.

If you were unable to attend as you can see in the photos you missed a great show.
