Wow, what a show we had last night! Not only did our talented members strut their stuff with their latest finishes -- we had a program and a half with our fellow member Christine B. We all know how creative and artistic Christine is but she just blew us out of the water. Her previous show of quilts was stunning and she followed up last night with all the non-quilt items she creates. What a wonderful show!

I didn't get quite all the pieces Christine brought with her (had a few pics that didn't turn out) but here they are - I didn't label each one.

They are followed by our October Show and Tell

And now for our Show & Tell for October

This beauty is Cecile G.'s "Bears in the Cabin" which is hand quilted.

This very Halloween wall hanging is "Witchipoo" and was completed by Doris K.

Another Halloween wall hanging in progress - this one by Lyn F. This is a freebee from the Fat Quarter Shop

Lyn F. created this one too - a very large quilt that's very retro in feeling. Quilted by Gwenda Quilts

A Stack n Whack completion - this one by Bertha M. It will be a gift to her first great granddaughter.

Linda B. loves stars and has made two quilts full of them for us tonight. The first included many thinner stripes and Linda's second star quilt had 2 1/2" wide stripes.

Peggy H. and Beryl S. got together for a bowl making session and their creativity took off.

Beryl's first lesson in bowl making has certainly paid off

Peggy's bowl complete with decorative touches

Peggy's bread basket in progress

Another creative project from Joyce N. Joyce took a damask tablecloth and turned it into this beautiful quilt. Note the quilted castle in the middle.
