Workday reminder, Ocotber 16th

Saturday, October 16th is our next workday you are welcome at any time during the day when your schedule allows between 9:00am - 4:00pm:

1. Evelyn will be teaching and assisting anyone interested in machine embroidery. Bring your own embroidery project and Evelyn will share her knowledge with you.

2. The Basics 101 project is placemats. Bring your own pattern and appropriate supplies or do one of the samples available the supply list is below.

3. As always at any Guild Workday you can bring your own project to work on or to get advice on fabrics, color, technique or understanding a pattern.

We are quilters and we love to share. Hope to see you on Saturday.

what to bring:

Basics 101 – Pieced and Scrappy Placemats
Sewing machine and manual, machine feet, any sewing tools that you think you will need thread snips, scissors etc. Walking foot for your machine (only if you have one already) Neutral Thread (light beige or light grey are good choices) Rotary Cutter Cutting Board (some are available at hall) Rulers (some rulers will be available) Assorted Scraps of fabric minimum 15” in length fat quarters are a good choice (Scrap bucket of donated fabric will be available) 1 m Pellon Fusible Fleece or Batting 1 m Fabric for Backing
